In the world we live in, we have the illusion of ownership. We own a home, a vehicle, clothes, food and the many objects within our personal environment.
Some people think they own their jobs. Some people think they own other people. Whether it is the intimate relationship of lovers, to the ownership that some parents believe they have over children to the cruel and debased concept of slavery.
Ownership. Something the world clamors after which does not exist. What can we own?
We cannot own things, places or people. We cannot own thoughts, or words or actions. We cannot own Truth. We seem at first glance to have possession of these things, but we do not possess any of them.
The next time you look at a sheet of glass, think about its nature. It is not a solid at all but a liquid that is in the process of melting at such a slow rate that it gives the appearance of solidity, over many ages a sheet of glass would melt and fall apart due to the process of the liquid movement.
Water, when it is frozen, appears solid, but when heated, it turns back to liquid.
Matter is frozen thought that appears solid, but this though when it returns to its source, ceases to retain form.
Our bodies and our very environments are created from the fluid energy that we have no control of. This energy creates us and our environment without our control and will return to their fluid nature, without our control.
Thought flows through us but we do not possess it. Form is in the process of flowing back to its source and we do not possess it. If even feelings are the reactions to stimuli that will simply flow and move on, then we do not even possess them, either.
What do we own? Nothing.
Because we are interconnected to all life, what do we need to possess? Nothing.
What should this mean to us? Everything.
We do not possess. We are the possession of Aten.
We do not generate movement. We simply flow on the Celestial Current provided by Aten.
